Carpool to WSD!
Carpool to WSD!
3.12.13

Protecting the environment is of the utmost importance for the World Snowboard Day team. Since transportation is the leading source of carbon emissions during any event, WSD has established a partnership with www.mountainrideshare.com.

Mountain Rideshare is a carpool website that specializes in traveling to ski resorts, making it super easy for mountain enthusiasts to connect with each other and fill empty seats in a vehicle. The goal of this partnership is to encourage World Snowboard Day participants to carpool to events in order to reduce the CO2 emissions (good for the planet) as well as transportation costs (good for your wallet).

Organizers can register their event on Mountain Rideshare and add the link to their event details on the World Snowboard Day website.

The three-step process to register an event is as follows:
1. Register/Login to www.mountainrideshare.com
2. Go to the Events area and click the "Post an Event" button
3. Add your event details and submit
4. Add the link to your profile on the World Snowboard Day website.

As a participant, feel free to visit the events list so as to check the available carpool opportunities.

For more information, check out the Mountain Rideshare Facebook and Twitter pages.
